Proposed changes to core Vixen

Starting a thread to discuss proposed changes to Vixen core. In the case of bug 65 I have investigated and I believe the EffectNode class in core needs to be made serializable to solve the code issue in the module. It could be possible to create a bug request for these. I expect there could be other items of these that might occur as well as even clarifications on how the core API was intended to be used for certain items.

Yep, that makes sense -- I can look at that hopefully soon, and (assuming it's straightforward) we can get it into the next build release.

If you wanted to track it, feel free to make a bug for it in the bug tracker and assign it to me.

As for the details on core API, yes, that's one thing we're lacking -- needs a *lot* more documentation. Unfortunately, that always seems to be left to the end, and normally doesn't get done.

But by all means, if you have questions on specific areas, just ask and we'll explain. :)
