Some LTC questions

I am just a little behind the rest of this board, I'm just now completing my LEDTriks where everyone else is playing with Pixels. But I have completed my LED Triks with Triks-C. I will be running a two panel design, 1 wide by 2 down. I have a couple of questions in regards to LTC I hope someone can answer.

I like the Christmas countdown function, but have noticed that it is in a two panel horizontal format. (2 wide by 1 down)
Is there a two panel vertical format? (1 wide by 2 down) If not, can it be done?

Is there a way to make a countdown to any event in the same manner? i.e. birthday, other holidays?

I have also looked at the RXCnnnn and the RYCnnnn commands. I don't seem to get them to work. Can anyone give an explanation of these commands, how they work, and the proper syntax for them?

What 'mode' do you have the panels set for? I think you need it set for mode 2?
0 = 1 x 1
1 = 1 x 2
2 = 2 x 1
3 = 2 x 2

but it's been a long time... You may want to ping TimW - he wrote LTC...

I sent him a message, no reply yet. I have tried the countdown with panels in both modes. I got the same output results. Output was for 2 wide by on high.
