I have identified an issue with thread titles. If the word "update" is in the thread title, possibly only the first word, you will be redirected to the home page if you click on the thread. One way around it is to copy the url and deleted the thread title after the thread id numbers in the url. The best solution is to refrain from utilizing the word "update" in the thread titles until the issue is resolved. You could use "up date" as it will be 2 words then.

The above url will no longer work as I edited the thread title. I had to add a space to render the entire url for the example.
