Vixen 2 sequence (generic serial) plays slowly

I am running a Vixen 2.1.1.0 sequence using 16 channels, 50 mms, generic serial, baud speed 57600. It plays too slowly. Sometimes it plays normally but usually it is slow. Even the music is slow. Any ideas?

Is the "Play a normal speed" button pressed?

Yes it is. However it plays as if it is 1/2 speed.

Interestingly, I remove the assigned audio and it appears to play at normal speed. Could it be the audio file (MP3)? Is WAV better?

Sorry I meant WMA file, I changed the format and it still plays slowly

Yes, wma files are trouble and variable bit rate is a problem. Try a 128 or 256 mp3.

Yeah, I tried that. I also updated my net.framework, downloaded vixen again. This is occurring on all the sequences I have written.

Can you send me a sequence? I'll pm you my email address. Does this only happen when you have the serial output connected or all the time?

I think I have found the solution, I downloaded the Analog Spectrum fix and replaced the existing Vixen 2 files. And now it works. Thank you to everyone who helped me, you are very generous
