xLights not showing model groups on import

I'm trying to import a sequence for my show. I go through the general how-to from the xLights instructions (open full sequence, render, I note what elements I want to import/map for my show [megatree and minitrees], then I hit 'Import Effects' and when I have the option to map effects to my layout - I only have the MegaTree group option on my side (left) to connect/map to?

I did this all last year and didn't think anything of it since I only had a MegaTree (adding the mini-trees this year). I do have the subgroups created in the layout tab (MegaTree, MiniTrees, MiniTree Stars, MiniTree Bases) but none of them are appearing for the import mapping?

I'm hoping I'm making a small oversight somewhere or need to click something to make them visible.

Right Click on the Row Heading in the sequencer and select Display Elements. Make sure all the models are in the Master View on the right.
