Best way to setup a Virtual Matrix in V3

I am adding a projector this year which will run off a Pi Player. I've set up a matrix in Vixen with enough "elements" so it will have decent resolution on the projector (45,000 elements with 135,000 channels). This really bogs Vixen down, almost to the point of being unusable. My computer should be strong enough to handle this.

So my question; is there a better way in V3 to setup a matrix to be used as a virtual matrix?

The Vixen leads have worked on a proof of concept where the data associated with the matrix is processed differently (more efficiently) than normal pixel data. This effort is still a work in progress. Are you planning to use FPP to ultimately play the video?

Let me ask the question a bit differently. Why do you want to run it as a virtual matrix? Why not just run video on the projector and keep the video workflow out of vixen?

Hey Jon,
Yes, FPP will play the exported files from Vixen. I would just upload video to the FPP, but I'm also using Vixen effects on it.
