An input plugin will allow plugin developers to connect a piece of "input" hardware to vixen. This could be anything the user desires (has the time to figure out) such as a WII Quitar or an electronic keyboard. Each "Note" can controll any number of channels. Channels can be run directly or the device can just be used to record. Kinda like hitting the space bar to tap out beats. This feature will be released in Vixen 2.5 At that time this page will be updated with examples.

What is an "Input" plugin?

An input plugin will allow plugin developers to connect a piece of "input" hardware to vixen. This could be anything the user desires (has the time to figure out) such as a WII Quitar or an electronic keyboard. Each "Note" can controll any number of channels. Channels can be run directly or the device can just be used to record. Kinda like hitting the space bar to tap out beats. This feature will be released in Vixen 2.5 At that time this page will be updated with examples.

Much thanks to KC for working to impliment this into Vixen.
