Complete novice - Grinch controller??

I've been looking at the Renbuss system.
It does look bloody impressive. I've already heavily invested in other kit.
I see its on special offer at the mo. What kind of standard price will it go upto?

Haven't set the final price yet, but bought separately, the individual components add up to $156. Probably around $139.95 or so later this summer... Our target is the Mr. Christmas system, which sells for about $149.95 for only 8 channels.
 
The Renbuss looks very impressive although at the moment I have already bought a Renard64XC so I think I'll see how I get on with that. Your store has been added to my favourites though.

One query about the Renbuss. Obviously it is designed to run on 110 volts so in the UK as you suggested we could use a step down transformer to go from 240 volts to 110 volts. Correct me if I'm wrong but does this not mean that we would then have to get lights that worked on 110 volts as well (i.e. our existing UK lights wouldn't work properly). Just a thought!!
