Third generation modification.

I used RGB strip because it was the only product that had 60led/m density.
I was not sure if it would be bright enough, so I went for overkill.

Seeing mine in action, 30led/m will still be plenty bright. This opens up the WS2803 intelligent strips, or even the CCR.
To make it even easier you take the data signal from the end of one spoke and bring it back to the beginning of the next spoke.
This means that one branch has only one four pin connector to attach to an Pixad8 or E680 or some other controller.
So while the original spokes were 24in long and only 9 channels each
with intelligent strip the spokes could be 36in long and 27 channels each.

Further while the controller could be configured to output the same data to each branch, you could also have the option of individually controlling all 486 channels.
