I have a proposal to make the main page shorter...
1. Move Vixen under Project Main Pages and delete the Software Section. 2. Move the Project Main Pages section to the top.
I doubt we are going to end up with much under the software section besides Vixen...Then again we don't want Vixen to look like just a side project or anything. What is everyone's opinion? Maybe we could rename the Project Main Pages section? Matt 09:41, 5 August 2007 (MST)
I would prefer to keep a software section. If we move Vixen under the projects page then it will look like a side project. Also we are a DIY community. If someone else comes along with some software for a specific piece of hardware then we would put that under software. I do not want anyone to get the impression we will not allow anything other than Vixen in this community.
Maybe we should make a main page for each peice of hardware, like an Olsen 595 page, Renard Page, Ledtriks page, ssr page, Grinch page..... and only the link to each hardware main page would be on the wiki main page. Or we could just give each category a main page and only have links to the category on the main page.(Macrosill 05:45, 7 August 2007 (MST))
That last suggestion seems like a good one to me. That should limit the main page to a small number of links, hopefully less than ten. The main page is going to become quite cluttered if we don't do something like that.

I agree with the category page idea as well. Matt 17:26, 8 August 2007 (MST)
I think that category descriptions might be more useful for each category rather than a listing of some of the articles. Thoughts?
