LEDEdit: Unable to export more than one *.led file for controller

Hello everyone!

First time being here!

I'll try to make this not such a wall of text.

Ironically, it's not Christmas-related, but New Year's related!

In 2019, I started work on a display for the 2020 New Year. It didn't come to pass, then COVID happened, and my motivation to finish it was sapped until 2022. I built a "ball" with WS2812B LEDs, to create an animated display to count down the new year. I succeeded in using a pre-2015 K-1000C controller, with a custom animation in Flash (remember that?), and was able to ring in 2023.

However, the 2014 K-1000C severely limits my ability to use newer software. Namely, I couldn't use anything past LEDEdit 2014, and record videos with other special effects that I'd like to add to the animations, so...

I got a post-2015 K-1000C. Fine. It works.

But now, I am having problems in using the newer LEDEdit applications. It records and seems to generate the data for the controller just fine, but does not save/output mutliple files to the SD card properly like the 2014 edition. I only get the first file in the list, with the name "K-1000C.led". Is there something I am not doing?
