Strands freezing mid show

Not sure what I am doing incorrectly but I have a couple of strands that freeze mid way through a song and just stay stuck at the last state they had. Using 2 FPP controllers (K16A-Bs). The strands I am seeing freeze up are coming off my main controller. Wondering if I am losing data stream or something.

Uploading to controllers via FPP Connect in xlights. Have tried V2 Sparse and straight V2. Not sure what else is needed to diagnose happy to provide whatever is needed.
 
Sounds like it could be a data problem, but maybe data from controller not data to controller.
Things I would check for. Distance from controller to first Pixel. are these problem strings further to first pixel?
If they are can it be shortened somehow? If not you may need a Data booster of some type. Null pixel, Falcon calls them Famps.
Check all connections from controller to first pixel to rule out nothing is lose or otherwise bad.

I am gonna drop an f-amp on it tomorrow and do some more testing. Thanks for the suggestion. Will let ya know how it goes.
