I'm building my first Renard 64xc and just want to make sure I've got the transformer wiring idea correct.
I have a few extra transformers from some RenSS24 boards that I don't use so I'm planning on using that. According to the datasheet it's a 2amp 12.6v center tapped transformer.
Reading the datasheet it looks like they are suggesting that I tie the 2 center tap pins(6 and 7) together but that doesn't seem right to me. From what I'm thinking I should just use pins 5 and 6 (or pins 7 and 8) to get my 6.3v. Am I right with this? Don't tie pins 5 and 6 together?
Here's the datasheet: https://www.mouser.com/datasheet/2/397/TCOA_S_A0009828884_1-2563863.pdf
Thanks for your help,
Chris
