Since the locomotive is so long you really can not see up close and personal in the front.. so, Got this cool backup camera on Amazon.. Works really well. Mounted it down in the cow catcher.. very wide able lens.. Monitor is to the right of the steering wheel. I was pleasantly surprised at how clear it is.

thanks.. with some parents letting their kids run loose out into the street at the parades...... I figured it was necessary.

Add some red "cop lights" on either side of the train, powered with Lidar to spot the little buggers before they get out to you (even when you cannot see them). Very bright spinning lights "should" get their attention.
