What to do with decor ' Grinch

I am decommissioning a couple of grinches this year. Any suggestions what others do with them?
I have dmx grinch dimmers with them.

I am seriously considering pulling my RPM Dimmer/Grinch combo out of its CG-1000 enclosure and use the enclosure for my Falcon Player/USB hub ... haven't figured out what yet to do with the old electronics.

PS: In 2011 I tried to have it drive the FAST tubes, but it was too far away from the tubes to provide enough ... what's the technical term? ... oomph.

How long is "too far away"?
You gave me an idea. I could run Mac's strobes.

That's what I'm thinking. But like the idea, I just wonder if I'm making a sequencing nightmare.

Actually amperage may not have been only the issue. It may have been voltage drop too.
Something for more pondering.
