Request a sample - Allegro ICs

I am going to do a google search and find out who owns "your last name enterprises"! They are taking all our supplies.

Funny, I did a Google search of "your last name enterprises" and it led me to this thread.... Talk about a business coming full circle!?!

Allegro ICs

Order a sample - A6279EA-T (six is the max you can get)

John.

One thing to consider is that the A6276EA-T can also be used in place of the A6279EA-T.

The only difference is the A6279 has open LED detection and the A6276 does not.

The Grinch and LEDTriks designs don't use the open LED feature, so this makes the A6276 a viable substitute if the A6279 can't be located.

A quick check on the Allegro site shows that Newark has 5321 of the A6276EA-T in stock.

Lots of companies will send you samples, http://www.instructables.com/id/Free_Electronic_Samples/
has a lot of vendors listed that have samples, it just so happens that I already have enough optoisolators from fairchild to build the Renard 16 without needing to purchase any. And the PIC16F688's Most of them want you to have a company, and want to know what you are doing with them. Most will send via UPS or FedEX. TI will even send FedEX overnight.

Another great place to find bulk cheap components is ebay. The local Radio Shack get $1.99 for a 5 pack of 1k resistors, however I ordered 100 of them on ebay for $1.99 with FREE SHIPPING, item 260520321620 . Coming from China, and takes a few weeks, but since I use a lot of these, its worth the money saved.

Hope this give some good info to everyone,
James
