So this tutorial is obviously from a few years back.... I have the 3.5 of the .net framework. I can get the 2.0 version to download. Do I have to get the older version?

You should not need version 2, the new versions are supposed to support the old. I have version 4 on one computer and 4.5 on another and have no problems running Vixen.

Best way to find out is to try it. If it doesn't work then try upgrading, if it still doesn't work install version 2.

Thank you Jrd,

I have been able to do some initial things with Vixen as shown in the video. Can't find where to open a picture of the house but I'll get there I'm sure....

I'm being a bit premature as I don't even have my controllers in or built yet. My worry now comes from trying to open some downloaded Vixen sequences that won't open and cause an error code.

Oh well, the journey continues, Merry Christmas to all!

Give it a try without downloading .NET 2 first and if it doesn't work correctly, install .NET 2.
